Applied Topic Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words.
Manuscript Applied Topic Articles should be 4,000–6,000 words. Manuscript should focus on a specific topic relevant to the field. Manuscript must include practical applications for strength and conditioning practitioners and an AI use disclosure if AI tools were used.
References References should follow AMA style. References must be alphabetized by the lead author's last name, numbered in that order, cited in the text with parenthetical numbers, and list the first 3 authors followed by et al. when there are 6 or more authors.
Figures & Tables Table files and figure files must be submitted separately as individual files, and figure files must not be embedded in the text. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, include brief captions listed after the references, and be understandable on their own with legends defining abbreviations.
