European Journal Of Anaesthesiology

The European Journal of Anaesthesiology (EJA) publishes original, high-quality research across anaesthesia, intensive care, perioperative medicine, pain medicine, and critical emergency care, with preference for clinically relevant studies. It also considers experimental and technological work, education and training papers, commissioned narrative reviews, short scientific reports, and includes editorials, commissioned commentaries, and book reviews; routine clinical case reports are generally not considered unless exceptional. As the official journal of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), EJA provides a platform for worldwide dissemination of pre-clinical, practical, and clinical research, highlighting recommendations, guidelines, clinical advice, and basic science. The journal specializes in expert rapid review with initial triage by the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editors-in-Chief, and upon acceptance, provides free professional Language & Technical Editor support to enhance accuracy, clarity, and understanding.
