The manuscript must include at least 2 keywords after the abstract, an Author Contributions heading after the Acknowledgements section, a Statements and Declarations section at the end of the article, and a statement in the methods identifying which reporting guidelines were consulted, while a plain language summary is optional.
References There is no limit on references. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables There is no limit on figures and tables.
