Original Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion(s).
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,000 words excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figure captions. Main text must be organized as Introduction, Patients and Methods or Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. Manuscript must include 3 to 6 keywords, a data availability statement explaining access to supporting data with links or citations to archived datasets, a disclosure statement, and a Declarations section before the reference list.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and listed consecutively in a numbered reference list containing only cited published or accepted works, with DOI links included where available.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted in separate files while figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order, and each must have a caption.

Manuscript Review Article manuscripts should be approximately 3,000 words, excluding the abstract, tables, and figure captions. The manuscript must include a disclosure statement and a statement specifying who conceived the article, performed the literature search and data analysis, and drafted and/or critically revised the work.
References Review Articles must have no more than 75 references. References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets, listed consecutively in numerical order, and include full DOI links where available.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted in separate files, while figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in the text in consecutive numerical order.
