Original Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must be on official letterhead with the author's institution logo and must not include funding information, author declarations, or suggested or opposed reviewers.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,500 words. The manuscript must be divided into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. Keywords must be provided, and the declarations tool must be completed with any required generative AI disclosure.
References No more than 50 references may be included. References cited in the article must appear in the reference list, references in the reference list must be cited in the article, and references cited in the abstract must be given in full.
Figures & Tables No more than 6 figures and/or tables should be included. Figures and other graphical media must be supplied as separate files, and tables must be submitted as editable text. Tables, footnotes, and captions must be included in the submitted files.

Abstract Required. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. Unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 4,500 words. The manuscript should include an introduction, discussion, and conclusion. Up to 5 authors are allowed without prior agreement of the editors.
References No more than 80 references may be included. Any references cited in the article must appear in the reference list, and any references listed must be cited in the article.
Figures & Tables No more than 6 figures and/or tables may be included.
