Original Article

Cover Letter null null
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be up to 300 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings significance/background, aims, methods including sample, design and outcomes measured, results/findings, and linking evidence to action.
Manuscript Original Article manuscripts must be limited to 5000 words excluding supporting information. Empirical research manuscripts should include background and significance, purpose/aims, design, methods and justification, ethical issues and approval, statistical analyses, results/findings, study limitations, discussion, and implications for future research. The manuscript must include keywords and a linking evidence to action box with 4 to 6 bullets in the discussion section, and it must include the year of data collection.
References APA reference style, 7th edition. If a DOI is supplied, it should be retained, and journal issue numbers must be included in brackets after the volume number when each issue begins on page 1.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files, with one figure per file. Tables must be complete with title and table notes as needed, figures and tables must not duplicate information already in the text, and figure legends must explain any abbreviations or symbols.

Manuscript Review Article manuscripts must be limited to 5000 words excluding supporting information. No specific overall section format is stated, but review articles reporting systematic reviews should include PICO(T) questions or clinical problem, databases searched and other information sources, selection criteria, methods for quality assessment and data abstraction, potential biases, study characteristics, characteristics of included and excluded studies, qualitative and quantitative findings, a summary of key findings in relation to practice, and suggestions for future research. Up to 10 keywords may be included, funding details must be provided, acknowledgements may be included and must be anonymized, and the manuscript must link evidence to practice.
References APA reference style, 7th edition. If a DOI is supplied for a journal reference, it should be retained, if each issue of a journal begins on page 1 the issue number must be included in brackets directly after the volume number, and place names given in brackets after the journal title must be deleted from references.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files and support information tables and figures are not counted towards the word count. Tables must be complete with title and table notes as needed, figure legends must be supplied as a complete list in the text, figures and tables must not duplicate information in the text, and supporting information files must be labeled clearly as Supporting Information.

Abstract An abstract is required. Up to 300 words. Structured. The abstract must use the headings significance/background, aim(s) of the project/initiative, implementation procedure, outcomes, and linking evidence to action including implications for practice.
Manuscript Up to 5,000 words excluding supporting information. The manuscript must include clinical inquiry, background and significance, organizational assessment, framework, a searchable question in PICOT or another searchable-question format, search strategy, critical appraisal and synthesis of the evidence, evidence-based recommendations, implementation strategies, outcomes measured, implications for practice, dissemination, and conclusion. The title must identify the population/problem and focus of the project or initiative and indicate that the manuscript reports an evidence-based practice project or initiative, and the manuscript must include up to 10 keywords.
References APA 7th edition. If a DOI is supplied for a journal reference, it should be retained, and if each issue of a journal begins on page 1, the issue number must be included in brackets directly after the volume number.
Figures & Tables Up to 15 pages of supporting information for review and online publication only are allowed. Figures must be uploaded as separate files. Tables must be complete with title and table notes as needed, figure legends must be supplied as a complete list in the text, figures and tables must not duplicate information already in the text, figure files must be named only with the word figure and the appropriate number, and all supporting information files must be labeled clearly as Supporting Information.
