Fast-Track Manuscript

Cover Letter A cover letter is required and must clearly request fast-track handling and state where the paper was previously submitted. The submission must include all editor and reviewer comments from the previous journal, the authors’ responses in list or table format, and a tracked-changes version of the original manuscript showing the revisions made.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript There is no word limit on submissions. Fast-Track Manuscripts must be suitable for AHSE and closely follow AHSE formatting guidelines. The manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a Declarations section before the reference list including required declarations, documentation of any LLM use in the Methods section or suitable alternative, and a disclosure statement.
References References must be cited in the text by name and year in parentheses. The reference list must contain only cited published or accepted works, be alphabetized by the first author’s last name, and include full DOI links when available.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text, with large figures submitted separately only if file size causes upload problems. Tables and figures must be numbered in Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions, with figure captions included in the manuscript text file.
