Anaesthesia Pain & Intensive Care accepts the following article types. Click on an article type to view submission instructions.

Original Research Articles

Cover Letter All authors must approve the submitted manuscript before submission.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must include front matter, a main body with Introduction, Objective, Literature Review, Research Methodology & Design, Results, Discussion, Limitations, Conclusions, and Future Directions, and back matter with Acknowledgements, Author Contributions, Conflicts of Interest, and References. Manuscript must include three to ten keywords, indicate the study type in the title, and may include a Patents section if patents resulted from the work.
References Literature Review must include at least 12 recent references from the past 5 years. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered in order of appearance using superscripts, include DOI numbers where available, list all authors when there are six or fewer, and list the first six authors followed by et al when there are more than six.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must be inserted in the main text near their first mention, and figures must also be submitted in a separate zipped folder. Figures and tables must be numbered sequentially, all must have titles and captions, and tables must be editable rather than submitted as images.
