Review

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must confirm that all authors contributed significantly and agree with the manuscript content.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured with no subheadings.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include abstract, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. Manuscript must include four to six keywords below the abstract, and reviews may also include a graphical abstract with a 2- to 3-sentence short abstract.
References There is no maximum reference limit. References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and journal names must be abbreviated in Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Reviews must include at least 1 image or figure. Figures may be embedded in the manuscript or uploaded as separate files. Figures and tables must have legends, and figure legends must be provided in a separate section after the references.

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must state that the content has not been published or submitted elsewhere except as a brief abstract, and must confirm that all authors contributed significantly and agree with the manuscript content.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured with subheaders. The abstract must state the main problem, methods, results, and conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must not exceed 4,000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. The manuscript must use the subheadings Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgment, Disclosure, References, and, when relevant, Supplementary Material. The manuscript must include four to six MeSH key words in alphabetical order below the abstract, and Original Articles may also include a graphical abstract with a 2- to 3-sentence short abstract.
References Original Articles have no reference limit. References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and journal names must be abbreviated in Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Original Articles have no figure or table limit, but 8 figures should be sufficient. Figures and tables may be included in the manuscript file or submitted as separate files. Figures and tables must have legends, and a separate figure legend section must appear in the manuscript after the references.

Abstract A 250-word unstructured abstract with no subheaders is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured with no subheaders. No abstract headings are permitted.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. Text must be arranged as in Original Articles. The manuscript must include four to six keywords below the abstract, and the words “Short Communication” must appear at the top left corner of the title page.
References References must not exceed 35. References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance, with journal names abbreviated in the Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables No more than 4 figures and tables in total are permitted. Figures may be submitted embedded in the manuscript or as separate files. Figures and tables must have legends.
