Appetite

Appetite is an international research journal specializing in cultural, social, psychological, sensory and physiological influences on the selection and intake of foods and drinks. It covers normal and disordered eating and drinking and welcomes studies of both human and non-human animal behaviour toward food. Appetite publishes research reports, reviews and commentaries, with thematic special issues appearing regularly. Submissions are expected to be based primarily on observations directly related to the selection and intake of foods and drinks.

Full Length Papers

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter should state that the authors have complied with the Guidelines.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured as a single paragraph.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords and must not include highlights.
References References and in-text citations must follow APA 7th edition style. The reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically, with same-author same-year entries distinguished by letters such as a, b, and c.
Figures & Tables Figures must be supplied as separate files, and tables must be submitted as editable text. Tables must be editable text with captions, and each figure must have a caption and be submitted as a separate file.
