Asia-Pacific Psychiatry is an international psychiatric journal focused on the Asia and Pacific Rim region and is the official journal of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists and the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Associations. It publishes research, clinical, education, and policy findings related to psychiatry and mental health, emphasizes diversity in psychiatric behaviour, treatments, and outcomes shaped by social, cultural, economic, and environmental differences in the region, publishes a wide range of article types, and welcomes open access publication.

Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must acknowledge that all authors have contributed significantly and agree with the manuscript content.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract may be structured or unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. Main text file must be presented in the order: title, abstract and key words, main text, references, tables, figure legends, and appendices if relevant. Five MeSH key words must be supplied below the abstract in alphabetical order.
References References must follow APA style. In-text citations must use the author-date method and the reference list must be alphabetical by author name with DOIs supplied for all references.
Figures & Tables Title page, main text file, and figures must be submitted as separate files. Tables must be supplied as editable files rather than images, and figure legends must be provided in a separate section after the references.

Manuscript text must be arranged as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgment, References, and, when relevant, Supporting Information. Five MeSH key words in alphabetical order must be supplied below the abstract.
References References must follow APA style. In-text citations must use the author-date method, the reference list must be alphabetical by author name, issue numbers must be omitted unless each issue starts at page 1, and DOIs must be provided for all references.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files, while tables must appear in the main text file after the references. Figure legends must be provided in a separate section after the references, and tables must be supplied as editable files rather than images.
