Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required and must be submitted as a separate file. The cover letter must include the submitting author's contact information and information about the authors and the manuscript.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript The introduction should not exceed two typed pages and the discussion should not exceed four typed pages. Manuscript must contain the following sections: Title Page, Running Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, References, Footnotes, Tables, Figures, Supplemental Data, and Check List. The abstract must be followed by up to 6 keywords, and research or project funding support and authors' financial relationships that may bias the work must be declared in the manuscript.
References Original Articles must have fewer than 50 references. References must be cited in the text using author surname and year, listed alphabetically by first-author surname, unnumbered, and include the names of all authors.
Figures & Tables Figures must be provided in separate files, figure legends must appear in a separate section of the manuscript, and tables and text files must be provided in MS Word files. Tables must have titles and explanatory legends, and figures must have titles, explanatory legends, and consecutive Arabic numbering.
