Abstract
Abstract is required and must be structured. Abstract must not exceed 500 words. Abstract must be structured with the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions or trial registration. Abstract must include Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions or trial registration.
Manuscript
Manuscript should be about 5000 words excluding the abstract, references, and figures/tables. Manuscript should be divided into the sections Graphical abstract, Highlights, Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Tables, and Figure legends. Manuscript must include Highlights, Key words, and a generative AI declaration statement placed in a new section before the references list if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References
References have no limit, although about 30 references may be included. References must be cited with superscript Arabic numerals in order of appearance and, when a reference has more than 6 authors, at least 6 authors should be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables
There is no limit on figures, tables, or video, although 8 figures/tables should be sufficient. Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables should be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article. Tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images, and all figures and tables must be cited in the manuscript and provided with captions or legends.
