Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Body text must not exceed 3000 words. Manuscript must include a bulleted list of up to 6 learning points, 5 multiple choice questions, and an Artificial Intelligence disclosure statement with Materials and Methods details if AI writing tools were used.
References References must be in Vancouver format. Citations must appear as consecutive unbracketed superscript numbers in the text, references must be listed numerically at the end, and references with more than 4 authors must list the first 3 followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Review Articles must include illustrations and figures. Figures must be submitted as separate files, and tables should be included at the end of the manuscript on separate pages. Alt text must be provided under each figure legend in the main manuscript, and figures with more than one panel must be submitted as separate files with each panel briefly described in the legend.

Abstract Original Articles must include a structured abstract. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The body text must not exceed 3000 words. For most Original Articles, the text should be divided into Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods (or Patients and methods), Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, References, Supporting Information, and Figure Legends.
