Review Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Review Articles must include an abstract. The abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Body text must not exceed 5000 words, excluding the abstract, reference list, and figures. The manuscript must include keywords, a graphical abstract submitted as a separate file, and a Declaration of the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the research and writing process if AI was used.
References References requirements are not specified.
Figures & Tables Review Articles may include a maximum of 5 figures and tables, and a maximum of 5 supplementary figures and tables. Tables must be included at the end of the manuscript and figures must be submitted as separate original files. Each table or figure must have a legend, composite figures must contain no more than four components, and graphical abstracts must be submitted as separate high-resolution landscape files with an approximate 4:3 aspect ratio.

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words excluding the abstract, reference list, and figure and table legends. Manuscript must be organized as Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and References. Manuscript must include keywords and a Declaration of the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the research and writing process when AI was used, and it must include a graphical abstract.
References Original Articles should preferably include no more than 50 references.

The manuscript must include keywords, provide four possibilities under the subheading What’s the diagnosis?, and include a Declaration of the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the research and writing process if AI was used.
References The submission may include a maximum of 5 references.
Figures & Tables The submission may include a maximum of 2–3 figures or tables. Tables must be included at the end of the manuscript on separate pages, and figures must be submitted as separate original files. Each table or figure must have a legend, composite figures must contain no more than four labeled components of similar visual content, and histology figure legends must include stain type and magnification level.

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 600 words excluding the title, acknowledgment, and references. Letter to the Editor correspondence and Clinical Correspondence must not use subheadings, while Surgical Pearls correspondence may use subheadings. Manuscript must include a mandatory list of keywords on the title page and, if AI or AI-assisted technologies were used, a section titled Declaration of the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the research and writing process.
