Review Articles

Cover Letter A signed copyright letter must be submitted by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors. The corresponding author must have approval from all listed authors for submission and publication of all versions of the manuscript.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Review Articles. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Review Articles must be 6000-10000 words excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, and tables. The manuscript must be divided into Title, Title page, Structured Abstract, Graphical Abstract, Keywords, Text Organization, Conclusion, List of Abbreviations (if any), Consent for Publication, Availability of Data and Materials, Funding, Conflict of Interest, Acknowledgements, References, Appendices, Figures/Illustrations (if any), Chemical Structures (if any), Tables (if any), and Supportive/Supplementary Material (if any). The manuscript must include 6 to 8 keywords, a graphical abstract, a separate Authors' Contribution paragraph with a CRediT author statement, and disclosure of any significant AI use.
References Review Articles must contain 100 or more references. References must use the numerical Vancouver system. References must be cited sequentially in square brackets and listed in the same numerical order, with journal names abbreviated according to Index Medicus/MEDLINE and all authors listed without using "et al.".
Figures & Tables There is no restriction on the number of figures or tables that can be included online. Figures and tables must be embedded in the manuscript at their appropriate placement, and figures must also be provided as separate files. Each figure should contain a single illustration unless combined as one composite file for multipart figures, and each table must include a self-explanatory title or caption.

Systematic Reviews must address the methods used for selecting, locating, extracting, and synthesizing data. The manuscript must include 6 to 8 keywords, an 'Authors' Contribution' paragraph with a CRediT author statement, and disclosure of any significant AI tool use with authors taking responsibility for AI-generated content.
References Systematic Reviews must contain 100 or more references. References must use the numerical Vancouver system.
