Original Article

Cover Letter A covering letter must be submitted as a separate file. The covering letter must state that all authors have contributed significantly and agree with the manuscript content.
Abstract Original Articles must include an abstract. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must not exceed 3000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. The text must be arranged as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgment, Conflict of Interests, Funding Information, References, and, when relevant, Supplementary Material. Five MeSH-based keywords in alphabetical order must be provided below the abstract, and AI tool use in developing any portion of the manuscript must be described in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
References References must use Chicago Reference Style: Note. References must be numbered sequentially as they appear in the text and listed in numerical order.
Figures & Tables Tables and figure legends must be placed on separate pages in the manuscript. Figures must be cited in consecutive order in the text.

Tables should be typed on a separate page, figure legends should be typed on a separate page, and the graphical abstract must be uploaded separately as an image labeled 'Graphical Abstract Image'. The graphical abstract should be self-explanatory, keep text to a minimum with no legend or synopsis, and may be accompanied by up to 80 words or 3 sentences summarizing the key findings.
