Environment & Health is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Article

Cover Letter A cover letter must accompany the submission.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract should not generally exceed 200 words. Abstract should be unstructured and briefly state the purpose of the research, the principal results, and the major conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must include clearly identified standard sections used to report original research. Manuscript must include an Abstract (TOC) graphic, 5–8 keywords, and disclosure of any AI tool use in the Acknowledgments or Methods as appropriate.
References References may be provided in any style for initial submission. References and footnotes must be listed together at the end of the manuscript text, cited in the text with superscript Arabic numerals, and include article titles.
Figures & Tables Figures should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance for initial submission. Each figure must include a caption below it, and each table must have a brief title.

Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Review cover letters must briefly describe the authors' expertise, list the authors' own publications related to the topic, justify the need for the review, and explain how the submission differs from recent related Reviews, Perspectives, or Viewpoints in the area.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract should not generally exceed 200 words. Abstract should be unstructured. Abstract must briefly state the purpose of the research, the principal results, and the major conclusions.
Manuscript Reviews are typically limited to 10,000 word-equivalents. The manuscript must include an Abstract (TOC) graphic and 5–8 keywords.
