Systematic Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required for Systematic Review articles. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings 'Question', 'Study selection and analysis', 'Findings', and 'Conclusions'.
Manuscript The manuscript must be no more than 3,500 words, excluding the title page, abstract, tables, acknowledgements, contributions, and references. The main text must use the headings 'Background', 'Objective', 'Study selection and analysis', 'Findings', and 'Conclusions and clinical implications'. The title must include the research type, and key messages of 3-5 sentences must appear after the abstract under the headings 'What is already known on this topic', 'What this study adds', and 'How this study might affect research, practice or policy'.
References The article may include up to 50 references. References must follow BMJ Vancouver style. References must be cited in numerical order and listed numerically, with the first three authors named by last name and initials followed by 'et al' for additional authors if applicable.
Figures & Tables The article may include up to 5 tables and illustrations. Tables should be placed in the main text where first cited, while figures must be uploaded as separate files.
