Original Articles
Cover Letter

Abstract
Original Articles must include a structured abstract. The abstract must not exceed 270 words. The abstract must be structured with separate sections. The abstract must include separate sections for context and purpose of the study, background, methods, results, and conclusions.
Manuscript
The main text must not exceed 7,500 words. The manuscript must include authors’ contributions, acknowledgements, funding, conflict of interest, references, figure legends, and tables. The manuscript must include 4–6 keywords, and any AI use to help generate content or images, write code, process data, or provide translation must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgements section.
References
References must follow Oxford Journals style. References must be numbered in order of appearance in square brackets and listed numerically, and if there are four or more authors, the first three must be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables
Figures may be uploaded either embedded in the word processing file or separately, figure titles and legends must be listed at the end of the main text, and tables must be on separate pages. Alt text must be provided in the main manuscript file directly under the relevant figure legend for all images, figures, illustrations, and photographs.

Abstract
A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 270 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include context and purpose of the study, background, methods, results, and conclusions, and for meta-analyses also include background, objectives, data sources, study eligibility criteria, participants and interventions, study appraisal and synthesis methods, results, limitations, conclusions and implications of key findings, and the systematic review registration number.
Manuscript
Main text must not exceed 7,500 words. Manuscript must identify the report as a systematic review, meta-analysis, or both in the title and include rationale, explicit PICOS-based objectives, protocol and registration information if available, eligibility criteria, information sources and search strategy, study selection, data extraction, variables sought, risk-of-bias methods, summary measures, synthesis methods, additional analyses if done, results of study screening and inclusion, study characteristics, bias assessments, outcome data, meta-analysis results, main findings, limitations, interpretation, and funding support. Manuscript must include 4–6 keywords, authors’ contributions, acknowledgements, funding, conflict of interest, references, figure legends, and tables.
References
