Health Promotion Perspectives (HPP) is an international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary quarterly platinum open access journal focused on health promotion and public health. It publishes quantitative and qualitative studies, especially interventional studies reflecting professionals’ experiences worldwide, and follows COPE and ICMJE recommendations.

Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must confirm originality, exclusive submission, absence of uncited copied text, the corresponding author's responsibility, all authors' approval and consent, disclose any competing interests and any use of artificial intelligence, and include the work's novelty, any policy-related issues, and the special issue name if applicable.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Structured abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must contain the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must contain Title, Structured Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Ethical Considerations, Conflict of Interest, Funding, Authors’ Contribution, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figures, and List of additional files. Manuscript must include 3 to 10 MeSH keywords in alphabetical order and lower case except where necessary, an Authors’ Contribution section using CRediT, required declarations including Conflict of Interest and Funding, a List of additional files, and disclosure of any artificial intelligence use in the appropriate manuscript section if applicable.
References References must use Vancouver style. Citations must be numbered sequentially in superscript after the nearest punctuation mark, references must be listed numerically at the end, all authors must be listed if there are 6 or fewer or the first 6 followed by et al. if there are more than 6, journal titles must use Index Medicus/MEDLINE abbreviations when available, and DOI must be included when available.
Figures & Tables Smaller tables may be pasted at the end of the manuscript, figures must be placed after tables and embedded in the manuscript for review, and figures must also be submitted as separate files. Figures and tables must be cited in numerical order in the text, each figure must have a legend, multi-panel figures must be uploaded as one file, and tables must be created as editable cell-based Word tables.
