Heart Failure Reviews is an international journal dedicated to interdisciplinary dialogue on heart failure and its treatment. It publishes papers in both basic and clinical research fields across topics including clinical and surgical approaches, basic pharmacology, biochemistry, molecular biology, pathology, and electrophysiology, with the aim of expanding knowledge of current research and new findings.

State-Of-The-Art Review

Cover Letter A letter to the Editors is required. The letter must indicate the role of each author in the preparation of the review.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript State-Of-The-Art Review manuscripts should be no more than 5,000 words. The manuscript must include a disclosure statement and document any use of a large language model in the Methods section or another suitable part of the manuscript if no Methods section is available.
References State-Of-The-Art Review manuscripts may include upwards of 50 references. Citations must use numbered references in square brackets. Reference list entries must be numbered consecutively and include only works cited in the text that have been published or accepted for publication.
Figures & Tables State-Of-The-Art Review articles have no table or figure limits. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless large file size prevents upload, in which case they should be submitted separately. Tables and figures must be numbered in Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions.

Mini Review

References Mini Review articles may include upwards of 25-30 references. Citations must be numbered in square brackets. The reference list must include only cited published or accepted works, be numbered consecutively, and include full DOI links where available.
Figures & Tables Mini Review articles should include 3-5 tables, figures, or graphics. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless large file size prevents upload, in which case they should be submitted separately. Tables and figures must be numbered in Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions.

Manuscript Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a “Statements and Declarations” or “Declarations” section, documentation of any large language model use in the Methods section or suitable alternative, and a contribution statement identifying who had the idea for the article, who performed the literature search and data analysis, and who drafted or critically revised the work.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. Reference list entries must be numbered consecutively and include only works cited in the text that have been published or accepted for publication, with DOI links included where available.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless large file size prevents upload, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order, each table must have a caption, and figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files.
