HIV Research & Clinical Practice is an international, peer-reviewed journal devoted to clinical and translational research related to HIV, including advances in science and care that directly affect clinical practice. It focuses on the interplay of inflammation, ageing, and chronic comorbidities in people with HIV, and publishes impactful research, implementation science, methodological papers, quality-of-life studies, socio-behavioural research, and other work intended to improve quality and length of life for people with HIV and those at risk of HIV acquisition.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusions in that order.
Manuscript A typical full article is up to 4,000 words. Manuscript should be organized as title page, abstract, keywords, main text with introduction, materials and methods, results, and discussion, followed by acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, appendices as appropriate, tables with captions, figures, and figure captions. Manuscript must include 3 to 7 keywords, a word count, and a disclosure statement under the subheading “Disclosure of interest.”
References References must include author name or names, journal or book title, article or chapter title, year of publication, volume and issue where appropriate, and page numbers.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be placed within the text or submitted as separate documents. Tables must be supplied as editable files and should present new information that is interpretable without reference to the text.
