Manuscript Manuscripts containing human semen analysis data must include the completed semen analysis checklist or a statement explaining how the methods compare with the Björndahl guidelines.
References References requirements are not specified.
Figures & Tables Figure legends must be provided after file upload, and figures must be uploaded as separate files rather than embedded only in the manuscript. Alt text must be provided in the main manuscript directly under each relevant figure legend for all images, figures, illustrations, and photographs.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be unstructured and up to 300 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript text must contain 3000–4000 words excluding references. Text body should be a readable and concise narrative review of the literature, usually under subheadings, and must include a conclusion whose final paragraph summarizes the review themes and identifies unanswered questions for future research. Manuscript must include a graphical abstract, 5–10 keywords immediately after the abstract, a declaration of authors' roles after Acknowledgements and before the Funding statement, and a conflict of interest statement.
References Reference list must contain 50–100 references. References must use an author-date citation style. References must be cited in the text by author and date, listed alphabetically, include up to 10 authors before using et al., list both authors for two-author citations, and use the first author followed by et al. for citations with more than two authors.
Figures & Tables Mini-Reviews may include one or two figures if required. Graphical abstract must be uploaded as a separate file in addition to the main manuscript text file. Figure legends must be self-contained and define all symbols and abbreviations, figures must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and cited sequentially in the text, and the graphical abstract must be a distinct single-panel image with a short legend or title of around 25 words.

Manuscript Manuscript should include an introduction, a detailed case description, and a discussion that begins with the principal findings, relates the case to other studies, offers possible explanations, and identifies questions for future research. Manuscript must include up to ten key words, a declaration of authors' roles after Acknowledgements and before the Funding statement, and a conflict of interest statement.
References References must use author-date citations in the text. References must be listed alphabetically, include up to 10 authors before using et al., cite two-author works with both names and works with more than two authors as first author et al., exclude unpublished data from the reference list, and mark accepted but unpublished papers as in press.
Figures & Tables Figures should not exceed the number absolutely necessary. Figures must be uploaded as separate files. Each figure legend must be self-contained and define all symbols and abbreviations used in the figure.

Manuscript Letters to the Editors must not exceed 1000 words including references. Letters should have a short title, use the form of address “Dear Editors,” include an explanatory note identifying the article discussed, and place the authors at the bottom of the text before the references. Letters must include a Funding section, a conflict of interest statement, author affiliations, and a correspondence section with the corresponding author’s full postal address, email address, and ORCID iD.
