Regular Paper

Cover Letter A cover letter of less than 250 words is required. The cover letter must state the work's innovation and significance to biomedical research and confirm that the manuscript is entirely original.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be less than 250 words. The abstract must be structured with specified subheads. The abstract must include the headings Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Significance.
Manuscript Regular Papers are expected to be 8 pages or fewer, may not exceed 12 pages without explicit permission from the Editor-in-Chief. The manuscript must include a conclusion section. The manuscript must disclose any use of AI-generated content in the acknowledgments section by identifying the AI system, the specific sections affected, and the level of use.
References References must be cited in IEEE style. References must be numbered in square brackets, listed in a separate section at the end of the paper, and for works with three or more authors only the first author should be listed followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must appear embedded in the text. All text, figures, and tables must be included in one file of less than 10 MB for review purposes.
