Original Article
Cover Letter
Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Original Article submissions must include a structured abstract. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
The main text must not exceed 3500 words. The main text must be organized under Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion subheadings. Original Article submissions must include 3 to 5 highlights and a declaration regarding the use of AI and AI-assisted technologies if such tools were used.
References
References must not exceed 30. References must be cited in the main text using Arabic numbers in parentheses, journal titles must be abbreviated according to Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed, and references with 7 or more authors must list the first 6 followed by “et al.”
Figures & Tables
Submissions must not exceed 6 tables, 7 figures, or 15 figure subfigures. Tables must be included in the main document after the reference list, while figures must be uploaded as separate files and not embedded in the main document. All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order cited in the text, and figure legends must be listed at the end of the main document.
Review Article

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Review Article submissions must include an abstract. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript
The main text must not exceed 5000 words. The main text must contain Introduction, Clinical and Research Consequences, and Conclusion sections. The manuscript must include 3 to 6 keywords at the end of the abstract and a declaration regarding the use of AI and AI-assisted technologies if such tools were used.
References
References must not exceed 100. References must be cited using Arabic numbers in parentheses, listed in the order cited, use Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, list the first 6 followed by et al. when there are 7 or more, and include a DOI for ahead-of-print articles.
Figures & Tables
Submissions must not exceed 6 tables, 10 figures, and 20 figure subfigures or subunits. Tables must be included in the main document after the reference list, while figures must be uploaded as separate files and not embedded in the main document. All tables and figures must be cited and numbered consecutively in the main text, and figure legends must be placed at the end of the main document.

The manuscript must include 3 to 6 MeSH keywords at the end of the abstract and, if AI or AI-assisted tools were used, a "Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies" stating how and which tool was used.

References must be cited in the text using Arabic numbers in parentheses, numbered consecutively by order of appearance, use Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, list the first 6 followed by "et al." when there are 7 or more, and include a DOI for ahead-of-print articles.
Figures & Tables
Brief Report submissions must not exceed 1 table, 5 figures, and 10 figure subfigures or subunits. Tables must be included in the main document after the reference list, while figures must be uploaded separately and not embedded in the main document. All tables and figures must be cited consecutively in the main text, each table must have a descriptive title above it, figure legends must appear at the end of the main document, and figure subunits must be submitted as separate blinded images without letter labels.
Letter To The Editor
Cover Letter
Letter must include 4 to 5 sentences describing the content of the letter for peer review purposes.
Abstract
Abstract must not be included.
Manuscript
Manuscript must not exceed 800 words. Letter must begin with “To the Editor” or “Dear Editor” and must specify the title and authors of the article being discussed. Letter may have no more than 6 authors, and any use of AI or AI-assisted tools must be disclosed in a section titled “Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies” describing the tool used and how it was used.
References
Letter may include up to 5 references. References must be cited in the main text using Arabic numbers in parentheses, journal titles must be abbreviated according to Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed, and references with 7 or more authors must list the first 6 followed by “et al.”
