Integrative Medicine Research (IMR) is the official journal of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM). It is a quarterly, single-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal focused on evidence-based scientific research in integrative medicine, traditional medicine, and complementary and alternative medicine. The journal publishes basic science and clinical research and considers review articles, original articles, letters to the editor, commentaries, and short communications.

Review Articles
Cover Letter
A cover letter is required. Cover letter must include the corresponding author's name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must be no more than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript
Manuscript must include section numbering and the file must contain a title page, abstract, keywords, main text, author contributions, funding statement, conflict of interest statement, data availability statement, references, tables, and figure legends. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords and an author declaration of generative AI use in manuscript preparation upon submission.
References
References must use a numbered citation style with superscript numbers in numerical order. References must be limited to sources cited in the text, listed in order of appearance, and journal references with more than 6 authors must list the first 6 followed by "et al".
Figures & Tables
Tables must be placed at the end of the manuscript, and figures must be uploaded as separate files rather than embedded in the manuscript file. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order they are first cited in the text, and figure legends must be provided after the references.

The manuscript must include 3–5 keywords, disclosure statements including author contributions, funding, and conflict of interest, and a declaration of generative AI use in manuscript preparation upon submission.
References
References must use a numbered citation style with superscript numbers in numerical order. References must be listed in the order cited in the text, journal titles must use MEDLINE abbreviations, and works with more than 6 authors should list the first 6 followed by "et al".
Figures & Tables

Figure legends must be provided for all figures and placed after the references, and tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order they are first cited in the text.

References must use a numbered citation style with superscript numerals in numerical order. References must be listed in the order cited in the text, and journal references with more than 6 authors must list the first 6 followed by "et al".
