Full-Length Original Research Papers

Cover Letter Use of AI tools to generate content or images, write code, process data, or provide translation must be disclosed in the cover letter.
Abstract An abstract is required and must appear before the main body of the text. The abstract must be 250 words or fewer. The abstract must be unstructured as a single paragraph written in complete sentences. The abstract must summarize the materials, methods, results, and major conclusions.
Manuscript The main text must begin with a brief Introduction and Full-Length Original Research Papers must include Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Provide a maximum of five keywords not appearing in the title, include a conflicts of interest statement and a separate Funding section before the Acknowledgements section, and disclose any AI tool use in the Methods or Acknowledgements section of the manuscript.
References Full-Length Original Research Papers should have approximately 50 references. References must be cited in the text by number in parentheses in order of first appearance, with up to three authors listed in full and four or more listed as the first three followed by 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables New manuscripts must be supplied in separate files consisting of a main text file and individual table and figure files, and the main text must indicate the most appropriate placement of each table and figure. All images must include alt text placed directly under the relevant figure legend in the main manuscript file, and all tables must have a legend.
