Full Length Article

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. It must confirm all authors read the Instructions to Authors, approved the submission and final version, agreed to acknowledged contributors or personal communications, and that the work is original, not under review elsewhere, and will not be republished without consent.
Abstract Structured abstract is required and must be 150–200 words. Use four paragraphs headed Objectives, Design or Methods, Results, and Conclusions, or equivalent headings suited to the paper format.
Manuscript Main text must not exceed 3500 words from the introduction through the end of the conclusion/discussion. Highlights are mandatory as a separate editable file, with 3–5 bullet points and a maximum of 85 characters per bullet.
References No more than 30 references are permitted. Cite references by number in square brackets, and list them numerically in the order first cited in the text.
Figures & Tables Up to 5 figures/tables are allowed in total. Figures require captions, tables require titles, descriptions, and footnotes, and all figure and table citations in the text must match the files provided.

Abstract Abstract is required and must be structured, 150–200 words. Use four paragraphs headed objectives, design or methods, results, and conclusions, or equivalent headings. Include the clinical trial registration number at the end.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,500 words. Highlights are mandatory and must contain 3–5 bullet points, each no more than 85 characters. Include a CONSORT flow diagram and a detailed randomization procedure.
References No more than 30 references are permitted. Use numbered citations in square brackets, and list references in the order first cited. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Figures & Tables Up to 5 figures/tables are allowed in total. Each illustration and each table must be uploaded as a separate file; tables must be removed from the main manuscript. Provide figure captions and table titles, descriptions, footnotes, and matching in-text citations.
