Journal of Cancer Survivorship: Research and Practice publishes peer-reviewed original research on cancer survivors, systematic and meta-analytic literature reviews, clinical investigations, and policy-related research that can impact quality of care and quality of life. It focuses on improving understanding, prevention, and management of cancer survivorship issues affecting quality care, symptom management, function, and well-being.

Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required and must be structured. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words long. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be divided into Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions, and Implications for Cancer Survivors.
Manuscript Manuscripts are typically 15–20 double-spaced typed pages. Manuscript must include a heading titled 'Statements and Declarations' after the References section. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a disclosure statement, and a 'Statements and Declarations' section containing Funding and Competing Interests statements, with Author Contributions encouraged and any use of a large language model documented in the Methods section or another suitable section.
References Citations must use numbered references in square brackets. Reference list entries must be numbered consecutively and include only works cited in the text that have been published or accepted for publication, with full DOI links included when available.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures should be limited to 3–4 total. Tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order in the text, and include a caption explaining the components of the table.
