Original Science

Cover Letter No specific cover letter is required beyond providing conflict of interest information on the cover sheet and completing the competing interest declaration template at submission.

Abstract A structured abstract is required, with no more than 250 words and no references or abbreviations.

Manuscript Main text is limited to 3000 words (excluding tables, figures, and references) and should be organized as: Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Financial Disclosure Statement, Figures with Legends, References.

References Use AMA style with numeric citations in order of appearance and full details in the reference list; Original Science papers should include approximately 40–50 references, and no maximum reference count is otherwise indicated.

Figures & Tables Include no more than a total of 8 figures and tables; submit figures individually as high‑resolution TIFF or EPS files and tables as separate WORD or EXCEL files, not embedded in the manuscript.
