Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must explain why the manuscript should be published in Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, address any journal policy issues, declare potential competing interests, confirm all authors approved the submission, confirm the work has not been published or submitted elsewhere, and mention the special issue name if applicable.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 350 words. The abstract structure is not explicitly stated. The abstract must end with the Level of Evidence according to The Oxford 2011 Levels of Evidence.
Manuscript The manuscript must include a Declarations section, and any nonrelevant Declarations subsection must still appear with the text "Not applicable". The title page must list the corresponding author, full names, institutional addresses, and email addresses for all authors; if abbreviations are used they must be defined at first use; and the manuscript must include funding information, competing interests, authors' contributions using initials, acknowledgements, and ethics and consent statements where applicable.
