Original Research

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 400 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript should be approximately 2,500 words. Manuscript should generally be structured as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Conflicts of interest and Funding statements, References, and Figure legends. The manuscript file must include de-identified conflicts of interest and funding statements, while complete versions must be provided on the separately uploaded title page.
References There is no limit on the number of references. The journal generally follows AMA style. References must be numbered sequentially in the order of citation.
Figures & Tables There is no limit on the number of tables and figures. Tables must be uploaded as separate word processing files and figures must be uploaded as separate files. Figure titles, legends, and captions must be included in the manuscript file rather than in the image files.
