Original Researches

Cover Letter Cover letter is required and must include any request for expedited review with reasons and a statement that the study received proper ethical oversight. Cover letter must include special considerations, a brief research background or how the data were collected, supporting information for the submission, the date, corresponding author contact details, signature, and a statement that the study received proper ethical oversight.
Abstract Original Researches must include a structured abstract. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background and Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 5000 words excluding the title page, abstract, and tables. Manuscript must be arranged as Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Text, Acknowledgements, Funding, Disclosures, References, Figure Legends, Figures, Tables, and Supplemental Materials, and the text must use Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion headings. Manuscript must include an author’s summary of no more than 100 words, three to five MeSH keywords, a graphic abstract, funding and disclosure statements, and a conflict of interest statement if none exists.
References References must not exceed 30. References must follow the NLM Style Guide for Authors, Editors, and Publishers. References must be numbered consecutively in order of mention, list all authors if there are 6 or fewer or the first 3 followed by “et al.” if there are more than 6, use Index Medicus journal abbreviations, include DOIs for online-ahead-of-print articles, and exclude personal communications, unpublished observations, and submitted manuscripts from the reference list.
Figures & Tables Original Researches must include no more than 8 figures and tables in total. Manuscript sequence places figure legends, figures, and tables after the references. Every figure and table must be cited in numerical order in the text, and figures must have short titles with 2- to 3-sentence captions while tables must use Arabic numbering with a brief title.

Manuscript must include 3 to 5 MeSH keywords, a graphic abstract, a funding statement with grant numbers and funder role, and a conflict of interest statement including a statement that none exists if there are no conflicts.
References References must not exceed 30. References must follow NLM Style Guide formatting with numbered citations in order of mention. References must be cited in the text in numerical order, use Index Medicus journal abbreviations, list all authors if there are 6 or fewer or the first 3 followed by et al. if there are more than 6, and must not be cited in the abstract.
Figures & Tables The total number of figures and tables must not exceed 8. Manuscript sequence places Figure Legends, Figures, and Tables after References. Every figure and table must be cited in the text in numerical order.

Manuscript order places figure legends, figures, and tables after the references, indicating they should be included with the manuscript rather than embedded within the main text sections. Every figure and table must be cited in the text in numerical order, all figures must have a number, title, and caption, and abbreviations in each table and figure must be defined.

Manuscript must include an author’s summary of no more than 100 words describing unmet needs, important findings for those needs, and the scientific and clinical meanings of the article, include three to five MeSH keywords, and provide a representative image selected from one figure.
References There is no reference limit. References must follow NLM style. References must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, use Index Medicus journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, and list the first 3 authors followed by 'et al.' when there are more than 6.
Figures & Tables A representative image must be selected from one figure representing the findings of the article.

Clinical Practice Guideline
