Original Research

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state the submission type, include the journal's copyright disclosure statement signed by all major co-authors, state that all authors approved the manuscript, and include the word count.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use labeled sections Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, although Background, Material and Methods, Result, Conclusion, and Key words are also specified elsewhere.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words excluding the title page, abstract, and references. Main text must include the headings Background, Material and Methods, Result, Discussion, and Conclusion, and the Material and Methods section must include Study design and the participants, Data collection, Inclusion criteria, Exclusion criteria, Sample size calculation, Outcome Variable, Explanatory variable, Ethical committee approval, and Data management and statistical analysis. Manuscript must include sections for Limitation of the study, Future scope of the study, What is already known on this topic, What this study adds, Author's Contribution, Acknowledgements, and Conflict of interest.
References References must not exceed 25. References must follow Index Medicus style. References must be cited in consecutive numerical order in the text, include DOIs, list all authors when there are six or fewer and the first three followed by et al. when there are more than six, and exclude unpublished observations or personal communications.
Figures & Tables There must be no more than three tables or figures. Tables and figure legends must be provided on separate pages. Tables and figures must be numbered in consecutive numerical order and limited to those necessary to explain and support the paper.

Review Articles

Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured and no more than 150 words. The abstract must be unstructured. The abstract must summarize the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 4000 words excluding the title page, abstract, and references. The manuscript must include a section describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data.
References The manuscript must have no more than 35 references. References must follow Index Medicus style. References must be cited in consecutive numerical order at first mention in the text using parenthetical numbers, and for journal articles list all authors if there are six or fewer or the first three followed by et al. if there are more than six.
Figures & Tables The manuscript must have no more than five tables or figures. Tables and figures must be numbered in consecutive numerical order, and figure legends must be typed double-spaced on a separate page.

References must be cited in consecutive numerical order at first mention in the text using parenthetical numbers, numbered consecutively in the reference list, include DOIs, use Index Medicus journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are six or fewer and the first three followed by et al. when there are more than six, and exclude unpublished observations or personal communications.
