Scoping Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must attest that the work is original, approved by all named authors, properly cites prior published information, does not infringe intellectual property rights, differs substantially from the authors’ previous works, and disclose any AI use and funding support.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 50 double-spaced pages including references and illustrative material. Scoping Reviews must include at minimum Introduction, Methods, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, Author contributions, Supplementary Material, Funding and sponsorship, Conflict of interest, References, and Table Legend and Figure Legend sections. The manuscript must include 5–7 key words and disclose any AI use in the Methods or Acknowledgements section.
References The review must not include more than 200 references. References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered sequentially in order of first appearance, with all authors listed for six or fewer authors and the first three followed by et al. for seven or more authors.
Figures & Tables There is a soft maximum of 5 figures per manuscript. Tables and illustrations should appear inline after the reference list, while artwork should be submitted in separate files. Tables and illustrations must be numbered in the sequence they appear in the text and all tables and figures must have a legend.
