Cover Letter A cover letter addressed to the editor must be uploaded as a separate file. The cover letter must confirm that all co-authors have read and approved submission and agree to pay for full color reproduction if color figures are submitted.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured and no more than 200 words. The abstract must be unstructured. No mandatory abstract headings are specified.
Manuscript The text body must not exceed 6000 words, excluding references, figure legends, and tables. Text sections must be arranged as Title page, Abstract and keywords, Key Points, Importance of the Study, Text, Required statements, Acknowledgements, References, and Captions for all illustrations. Up to 5 keywords and 2 to 3 brief key points with a total maximum of 260 characters/spaces must be included, and any AI use must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgements section.
References No more than 100 references may be included. References must be numbered in order of citation and cited in the text with superscript Arabic numerals, and for works with more than six authors the first three authors must be followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables No more than 7 display items may be included. For first submission, display items must be placed at the end of the text after the reference list and figure legends, and tables should otherwise be uploaded as separate files. Tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals and each table must be limited to a maximum length of 2 pages.

Papers are normally reviewed within 3-4 weeks of submission. Appeals must be submitted within 4 weeks of the decision. Authors have 3 weeks to accept or decline a transfer offer to a sister journal.
