Obesity Reviews is the official reviews journal of the World Obesity Federation. It publishes reviews across all disciplines related to obesity and its comorbidities, including basic and behavioral sciences, clinical treatment and outcomes, epidemiology, prevention, and public health, and aims to contribute to education and interprofessional developments by planning pro and con reviews on current controversies.

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract should be about 200 words. Abstract type is not specified for Review Articles.
Manuscript Review Articles are recommended to be approximately 10 pages including references, tables, and figures, with text reduced as needed to stay within this limit. Review Articles should be divided into an abstract, introduction, text subdivided in paragraphs, and conclusion or discussion. Manuscript may include up to seven keywords, and Practitioner Points are optional with no more than three key points.
References References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered in the order cited, list up to six authors, use the first three authors followed by et al. when there are more than six, begin with the title if there is no author, and use abbreviated periodical titles.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be embedded in the manuscript or uploaded as separate files at initial submission.
