Original Articles must have a word count of 3,500. Original Articles must include the sections Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Original Articles must include keywords, key messages, and a data availability statement.

Original Articles may include up to 50 references. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be cited with Arabic numerals in order of appearance, listed at the end of the main text, and use 'et al' when there are more than six authors.
Figures & Tables
Original Articles may include up to 6 tables and figures, excluding supplementary material. Tables may be included at the end of the manuscript or uploaded separately, and figures may be included at the end of the manuscript but must be provided as separate files upon article acceptance.
