Seminars In Immunology

Seminars in Immunology is a review journal dedicated to keeping scientists informed of developments in immunology on a topic-by-topic basis. Each issue is thematic in approach, devoted to an important topic of interest to immunologists, and focuses on recent advances across a broad spectrum of research, from the molecular and cellular basis of the immune response to the possibilities for its manipulation. Every issue is edited by a guest editor and contains six to eight authoritative invited reviews on different aspects of the subject area.

Seminars In Immunology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A concise and factual abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, required article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points, a declaration of competing interests, a generative AI statement placed before the references, acknowledgements before the references, and co-author contributions using CRediT roles.
References References must be cited in the text using numbered square brackets. References must be numbered in order of appearance, journal names must be abbreviated according to LTWA, and every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article, while figures must be supplied as separate files. Tables must be editable text with captions and figures must each be cited, numbered in sequence, and accompanied by a caption.
