Techniques in Coloproctology is an international journal devoted to epidemiologic, pathologic, diagnostic, and therapeutic studies relevant to the management of colorectal and pelvic floor diseases. It covers topics including imaging, clinical physiology, laparoscopy, open abdominal surgery, proctoperineology, and colorectal motility disorders, and publishes reviews, original articles, technical notes, and multimedia articles. It is the official journal of the Italian Society of Colorectal Surgery (SICCR).

Abstract Abstract is required for an Original Paper. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords and document any use of a large language model in the Methods section or another suitable part of the manuscript.
References Reference list is limited to 45 references. Citations must be numbered in square brackets in the text, references must be numbered consecutively, and references with seven or more authors must list the first three authors followed by et al.
Figures & Tables A combined total of figures, tables, and illustrations must not exceed 12. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text and separately only if file size causes upload problems. Figures and tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by concise captions.
