Research Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter must be submitted separately. Cover letter must state the manuscript title, the journal name, why the study is important and relevant to the readership or field, that the manuscript is not published or under consideration elsewhere, and that all authors approved the manuscript and its submission.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must include clearly defined sections and a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' at the end after Acknowledgements and Author Contributions if applicable. Manuscript must include 2–5 keywords after the abstract and include each subheading under 'Statements and Declarations,' stating 'Not applicable' where a declaration does not apply.
References References must follow APA style. Every in-text citation must correspond to a reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted and numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.
