Aggressive Behavior publishes English-language manuscripts on animal behavior, anthropology, ethology, psychiatry, psychobiology, psychology, and sociology related to overt or implied conflict behavior. The journal mainly publishes empirical studies and also considers review articles, especially meta-analyses, as well as limited commentary and invited editorials.

Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be 250 words or fewer. Abstract must be unstructured. Abstract must succinctly state the objectives, experimental design, principal observations, and conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must be limited to 7,500 words including the title page, abstract, text, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Manuscript must include up to seven keywords.
References References must follow APA 6th edition style. In-text citations must use the author-date method and the reference list must be arranged alphabetically by author surname with DOIs included where available.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures must be uploaded in separate files from the main manuscript text. Figures and tables must have legends.
