Animal Reproduction Science

Animal Reproduction Science publishes results from studies relating to reproduction and fertility in animals. It aims to publish fundamental research and applied studies, including management practices that increase understanding of the biology and manipulation of reproduction, with topics including reproductive physiology and endocrinology, reproductive cycles, control of reproduction, preservation and use of gametes and embryos, pregnancy and parturition, and infertility and sterility in animals useful to humans, including food- and fibre-producing animals.

Original Research Papers (Regular Papers)

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Original Research Papers (Regular Papers) should not exceed 8,000 words. Manuscript should include the sections Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points submitted as a separate editable file, and a generative AI declaration in a new section before the references list if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References Reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary, with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables combined must not exceed eight items. Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables are submitted as editable text within the submission. Tables must be editable text with captions and consecutive numbering, and figures must be cited in the text, numbered in order, and provided with captions.
