Original Articles

Cover Letter A submission letter signed by all authors is required. The submission letter must confirm all authors contributed to the submitted material, read and approved the manuscript, disclose any commercial financial incentive and extra-institutional funding, and include a non-plagiarism statement.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must contain no more than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript text must contain no more than 2500 words, excluding the abstract. Original Articles must include Cover Page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, References, Tables, and Legends, with each section beginning on a separate page and numbered consecutively. The manuscript must include up to six MeSH keywords and a list of abbreviations at the end if abbreviations are used.
References Original Articles must contain no more than 30 references. References must use Vancouver format. References must be numbered in the order cited in the text, identified by Arabic numerals in parentheses, not alphabetized, include all authors up to six then the first six followed by et al for more than six, and include initial and final page numbers.
Figures & Tables The number of illustrations must not exceed 10 per manuscript. Illustrations must not be merged in the text, and figure legends must be provided on a separate page. Each figure and table must be cited in the text, and each table must be numbered with Arabic numerals and accompanied by a legend.

References must be numbered in order of citation, cited in the text with Arabic numerals in parentheses, not alphabetized, include all authors unless there are more than six in which case the first six are followed by et al., and include initial and final page numbers.
