Abstract A structured abstract is required for Research Articles. Abstract must be under 251 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript should be approximately 2,000–5,000 words. Manuscript must be organized into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and an optional Conclusion. Manuscript must include a non-specialist summary, 4 to 7 keywords, a list of non-standard abbreviations, a Competing Interests section, an Artificial Intelligence Use section, a CRediT Author Statement, a Funding Support section, and a Funding Influence section.
References References must follow Vancouver strict style. References must be numbered in citation order, cited in square brackets inside punctuation, use NLM Catalog journal abbreviations and full DOI URLs where available, and list all authors up to 6 or the first 6 followed by et al. for more than 6.
Figures & Tables Research Articles may include up to 10 tables and/or figures. Figures and tables must be embedded in the manuscript, and original figures must also be submitted as individual files.
