Journal of Pediatric Surgery is the official journal of the Section on Surgery of the American Academy of Pediatrics, British Association of Paediatric Surgeons, American Pediatric Surgical Association, Canadian Association of Paediatric Surgeons, Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons, and International Pediatric Endosurgery Group. Its mission is to provide current clinical and scientific knowledge and evidence in pediatric surgery and to improve the surgical care of infants and children through advances in physiology, pathology, and attention to the unique physical and non-physical needs of young patients.

Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Research Articles. The abstract must be 250 words or less. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript The manuscript should not exceed 5,000 words of text. The manuscript should be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. The submission must include 1 to 7 English keywords, article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points submitted as a separate editable file, and an AI-use declaration section placed at the end of the manuscript before the references if generative AI was used in manuscript preparation.
References The manuscript should not exceed 50 references. References must be cited using numbered square brackets in the text.
