Research Article

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must specify the manuscript type and state whether a Code Review is requested, including a description of the code and a two-sentence summary of the paper, and if AI or AI-assisted technologies beyond basic linguistic checking were used it must clearly describe that use.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, or Purpose, Theory and Methods, Results, and Conclusion if a Theory section is included.
Manuscript Manuscript body must not exceed 5000 words. Manuscript should normally be divided into Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion, with an optional Theory section after the Introduction and Conclusions optionally merged into Discussion as Discussion and Conclusions. References References must follow AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition. References must use citation-sequence numbering with in-text citations as numbers in parentheses and the reference list in numerical order, listing all authors unless there are more than six, in which case only the first three are listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Total number of figures plus tables must not exceed 10. Tables must be listed at the end of the manuscript text or uploaded as individual .doc or .docx files, and if figures are embedded in the paper, separate figure files must also be submitted.
