Research Article

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must describe the knowledge gap addressed, the research implications and significance, how the manuscript fits the journal scope, and the manuscript’s unique contributions, and must name any special issue or collection and invitation if applicable.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Research Articles are typically 5000 words in length. Manuscript must include the sections Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords, a statements section before the references, and any use of generative AI must be declared in the Methods or Acknowledgements.
References Citations must be numbered sequentially in square brackets and the reference list must include only cited works arranged numerically in citation order, listing up to 6 authors before using et al.
Figures & Tables Research Articles typically include 4 to 8 tables and figures. Tables and figures must be submitted as separate files rather than embedded in the manuscript. Figure legends must be included at the end of the manuscript text, and table headers must be included in the table file.

References References must be cited sequentially with Arabic numerals in square brackets, include only works cited in the text, be listed numerically in citation order, and list up to 6 authors before adding et al.
Figures & Tables Review Articles typically include 4 to 8 tables and figures. Figures and tables must be uploaded as separate items in their original file format, and figure legends must be placed at the end of the article after the reference list.
